West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has issued a notification inviting online applications for Sub-Inspector (Unarmed and Armed Branch) vacancies. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 464 vacancies, which includes 164 posts for Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch – Male), 100 posts for Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch – Female), and 200 Sub-Inspector ( Armed Branch – Male).
The application process for West Bengal Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2024 will start on 9 March and will end on 7 April 2024. The candidate must be a graduate. His age should be between 20 to 30 years. For this, January 1, 2024 has been considered as the basis. It is also important that the applicant should know how to read, write and speak Bengali language. There is a provision to give exemption in this rule to permanent residents of hilly areas of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts. There is a provision for relaxation in age limit for reserved categories as well.
