Many senior IPS Officers, including Police Commissioners of Lucknow and Prayagraj have been transferred in Uttar Pradesh. In total, 16 IPS officers have been transferred in these transfer orders which came after the Loksabha elections.
IPS SB Shiradkar has been removed from the post of Police Commissioner of the capital Lucknow and has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP ) of Lucknow Zone in place of IPS Amarendra Kumar Sengar. Amarendra Sengar will now be the new Police Commissioner of Lucknow in his place. Whereas IPS Tarun Gauba (IPS Tarun Gauba) will be the new Police Commissioner of Prayagraj (Allahabad).
Another IPS Ramit Sharma, who was the Police Commissioner of Prayagraj till now, has been appointed Additional Director General of Police of Bareilly Zone.
Prashant Kumar (second) has been posted as Inspector General of Lucknow Range (IG Lucknow Range). Bareilly ADGP Prem Chand Meena has been posted as CMD of Police Housing Corporation. Vidyasagar Mishra has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP Rampur) of Rampur.
Lucknow ADGP Vinod Kumar Singh has now been transferred to the Cyber Crime section. IPS Yamuna Prasad has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Noida. ADGP Prakash De will be incharge of Railway Police. Narayan Singh, the current ADGP of Railways , has been transferred to Sitapur Police Training Center. ADGP of Special Security Force LV Antony Dev Kumar has been posted in CBCID. IPS Raghuveer Lal has been given additional charge of Special Security Force along with ADGP (Security).
IPS BD Palson has been removed from traffic and road safety and has been given the responsibility of police training.
