Overhaul in Telangana police : 21 IPS transferred and few new postings

In a significant police administrative overhaul, the Telangana government on Friday transferred 21 officers of Indian Police Service. The list of transfers and new posting includes the names of IPS Anil Kumar the chief of Telangana Special Protection Force (TSPF) and Warangal Police Commissioner Ambar Kishor Jha.

Director-General of TSPF Anil Kujmar has been posted as Additional Director-General of Police (Personnel). He has relieved  Mahesh M. Bhagwat from full additional charge but will continue as Director-General, TSPF, in FAC until further orders.

Police Commissioner of Ramagundam M. Srinivasulu has been appointed as Inspector General of Police in CID whereas IPS Ambar Kishor Jha, Warangal Police Commissioner, has been asked to take charge of Ramagundam.

IPS Sunpreet Singh has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General. He has been appointed Warangal Police Commissioner in place of Ambar Kishor Jha.

Deputy Commissioner of Peddapalli Police ,  Chetna Mylabhutala has been transferred from  Ramagundam Commissionerate and  has been posted as SP of  Women Safety Wing( Telangana) , Hyderabad.

Ch.Sindhu Sarma,the Superintendent of Police in Kamareddy, has been transferred as SP, Intelligence. This post was vacant .

M. Rajesh Chandra, DCP of  Yadadri-Bhongir under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has been posted as SP at Kamareddy, replacing Ch. Sindhu Sarma.IPS Potharaju Sai Chaitanya has been appointed Nizamabad Police. Presently he is the SP of Anti-Narcotic Bureau, Hyderabad. He will  relieve Ch. Sindhu Sarma from the full additional charge of Nizamabad.

SP of Adilabad, Gaush Alam is now the new police commissioner of Karimnagar. He will replace Abhishek Mohanty. IPS Abhishekh Mohanty has been relieved from the Telangana cadre. Akhil Mahajan, SP of Rajanna Sircilla, has been transferred to Adilabad replacing Gaush Alam.

Chennuri Rupesh, SP of  Sangareddy, has been posted as SP, Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau, (Hyderabad), in place of  Potharaju Sai Chaitanya. Paritosh Pankaj, Officer on Special Duty  (OSD), Kothagudem, is now the new SP of Sangareddy. IPS Akshansh Yadav, the DCP of Hyderabad Central Zone, has been posted as DCP of  Yadadri Bhongir, replacing M. Rajesh Chandra. K. Shilpavalli, awaiting posting , will be the new DCP of Hyderabad Central.

Gite Mahesh Babasaheb, OSD at  Mulugu, has been posted as SP, Rajanna Sircilla, replacing Akhil Mahajan. IPS Ankit Kumar Sahkhwar,  has been assigned as DCP, Warangal East, replacing P. Ravinder, SP (Non-Cadre). He was waiting for posting.

A. Bhaskar (awaiting posting) has been appointed as DCP of  Mancherial in Ramagundam Commissionerate. K. Narasimha, also awaiting posting, has been appointed as SP of Suryapet, replacing Sunpreet Singh. IPS Y. Sai Sekhar ( awaiting posting) has been appointed as SP, SIB, Intelligence.

A Non Cadre officer P. Karunakar, awaiting posting, has been assigned as DCP, Peddapalli-Ramagundam, replacing Chetna Mylabhutala while P. Ravinder, upon transfer, has been posted as CID SP in the existing vacancy.
