Haryana Government has today announced to give new responsibilities to many police officers. Some IPS officers were transferred and some were newly posted or given additional responsibilities.
The responsibility of ADGP of Crime Branch (Gurugram) has been taken from Charu Bali, a 1995 batch Haryana cadre officer of the Indian Police Service. IPS Charu Bali was till now holding the post of Additional Director General of Police, Crime Branch, and was also looking after the additional charge of Bhondsi Police Complex (Gurugram). Now she has been made ADGP of Bhondsi Recruitment Training Center (RTC Bhondsi). She has also been assigned additional work of Bhondsi Police Complex (Gurugram). IPS Mohit Handa has been posted as Superintendent of Police of Hisar.
1996 batch IPS Mamta Singh has been given the responsibility of ADGP (Law and Order) as well as State Crime Branch. Till now IPS Ajay Singhal was the ADGP of State Crime Branch. Ajay Singhal has been transferred to the post of ADGP (Railways and Commando Unit), Panchkula. Besides, he has also been given the charge of ADGP of Haryana Human Rights Commission (Chandigarh).
Superintendent of Police (Lokayukta – Haryana) IPS Sangeeta Kalia, posted in Chandigarh, has been transferred to Bhondsi Recruitment Training Centre. The post of SP of RTC Bhondsi was with Haryana Police Service (HPS) officer Dharambir Singh as additional charge. Hisar SP Mohit Handa has been given the additional charge of Haryana Women Police Training Center (Hisar) and 3rd battalion of Haryana Armed Police.
