According to the order issued by the office of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order Zone I) Deependra Pathak (1990-batch IPS) has been transferred to the security unit. Ravindra Singh Yadav (1995-batch IPS), who was till now the Special Commissioner in-charge of the Crime Branch, will now head the Law and Order Zone I.
Special commissioner HGS Dhaliwal (1997-batch IPS) has been transferred to Traffic Zone II and Special CP SS Yadav (1997-batch IPS) has been transferred to EOW (Economic Offenses Wing). Special Commissioner Madhup Tiwari (1995-batch IPS) will head Law and Order Zone II while Special Commissioner Sagar Preet Hooda (1997-batch IPS) has been transferred to the Police Control Room (Communications). Mr. Hooda has also been given additional charge of Perception Management and Media Cell Division.
Special Police Commissioner Shalini Singh, a 1996 batch IPS officer, has been transferred to the crime unit while Special CP RP Upadhyay (1991-batch IPS) will now head the special cell. Special CP Virendra Singh (1991-batch IPS) has been transferred to the Licensing Unit. Special CP K Jagadesan (1998-batch IPS) has been given the charge of head of Traffic Zone I.
Special Commissioner of Police Chhaya Sharma (1999-batch IPS), who was heading the training division till now, has been given additional charge of SPUWAC (Special Police Unit for Women and Children) and SPUNER (Special Police Unit for North-Eastern Region). .
Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena (lg vinay kumar saxena) has also issued transfer orders of 16 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) rank officers.
DCP Usha Ranganani (2011-batch IPS) is transferred to Airport Unit, Injit Pratap Singh (2011-batch IPS) to Vigilance Unit, Pranab Tayal (2011-batch IPS) to Special Branch with additional charge of Technical and PI Unit. Sanjay Kumar Sain (2011-batch IPS) will take care of Crime Branch, Manoj C (2011-batch IPS) to Special Cell, Guguloth Amrita (2011-batch IPS) has been sent to EOW, Devtosh Kumar Surendra (2011-batch IPS) is made Deputy Commissioner Headquarters II. He will also hold the additional charge of DCP Headquarters III. ,
M Harsh Vardhan (2012-batch IPS) has been posted in Central district, Devesh Kumar Malha (2012-batch IPS) in New Delhi district, Rohit Meena (2012-batch IPS) in South-West district and Rakesh Pawaria (2012-batch IPS IPS) has been transferred to South-West district.
