The General Administration Department in Kerala has announced the new postings and transfers of many officers of Indian Police Service posted in the State. Many districts and units will get their new chief in the process of this reshuffle . .
According to an order Kollam City Police Commissioner, Merrin Joseph, is being given the posting as Superintendent of Police,Crime Branch in Thiruvananthapuram. Whereas the Principal of Police Training College Kiran Narayanan is being posted as the Chief of Thiruvananthapuram Rural District Police.
Meanwhile the Deputy Commissioner of Police( VIP Security) Jayadev G. has will be the full additional charge of Commandant, Special Armed Police Battalion (SAP). Assistant Inspector General of Police (Policy) Navneet Sharma is being transferred and posted as Thrissur Rural District Police Chief.
Malappuram District Police Chief Sujith Das will be posted as Superintendent of Police, Special Operation Group.Idukki District Police Chief Kuriakose V.U. is being posted as the Principal of Police Training College.
S. Sasidharan, presently the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order, Traffic) of Kochi is being posted as Malappuram District Police Chief. Kollam Rural District Police Chief M.L. Sunil is posted as the Thiruvananthapuram Range State Special Branch, Superintendent of Police.
Kasaragod District Police Chief Vaibhav Saxena has been transferred to Ernakulam (Rural) as Police Chief. P. Bijoy will replace him who is posted as SP of Thiruvananthapuram Range State Special Branch. 2016 batch IPS officer D. Shilpa will now be the Kozhikode Rural District Police Chief.
Sabu Mathew K. M. will be Kollam rural District Police Chief. Presently he is posted as SP of Crime Branch in Ernakulam. Ernakulam Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau Special Cell Superintendent of Police K.S. Sudarshan is being given posting as Kochi City Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order and Traffic).
Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief Vivek Kumar is being posted as Kollam City Police Commissioner.Thrissur Rural District Police Chief Aishwarya Prashant Dongre is being posted as IRB Commandant
K.E. Baiju , the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kozhikode city (Law & Order and Traffic) has been transferred as Commandant of Rapid Response and Rescue Force Battalion. Commandant of the 4th battalion of Kerala Armed Police Vishnu Pradeep T.K. is being posted as Idukki District Police Chief.
Rapid Response and Rescue Force Battalion Commandant Anuj Paliwal will be Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law & Order and Traffic) in Kozhikode.
