Inspector Jagbir Singh, posted in the Security Branch of Delhi Police, died in a road accident on Sunday after being hit by a truck . Inspector Jagbir Singh was standing near the car after it stopped due to some mechanical fault.
Inspector Jagbir Singh was going in the car today ( 30 July 2023 ) morning. While passing through the Punjabi Bagh area of West Delhi, his car ( WB02 AN 7660 )broke down near Madipur Metro Station on Rohtak Road . Inspector Jagbir Singh got down from the car and was standing near it when this truck with Haryana registered number hit the car from behind.
Police said that after hitting the car, the driver of the truck got down from the truck and fled from the spot of the accident. Delhi Police’s West District Deputy Commissioner Vichitra Veer (dcp vichitra veer) said that the investigation and other legal action is being taken in this case. Police are looking for the driver of the truck. After he is caught, all the circumstances related to the accident will be known.

In such a situation, perhaps in an attempt to avoid collision, he suddenly turned the truck on the right side and hit it on the green belt divider in the middle of the road, but a part of the truck collided with the car.
