CM Mann’s green signal for recruitment in Punjab Police at 1450 posts

The Punjab government has approved the process of recruitment for 1450 posts in State Police. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday gave the go ahead for the process to induct police personnel from the ranks of Head Constables to Inspectors.

Under this new recruitment process of Punjab Police, the vacancies of 50 Inspectors, 150 Sub Inspectors, 500 Assistant Sub Inspectors and 750 Head Constables  will be filled.

Issuing a statement in this regard, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has said that the youth  will work as a catalyst in realising the dream of ‘Rangla Punjab’ (vibrant punjab) as avenues of government jobs have been opened for them.He said that motive is to make youth an equal partner in the growth of Punjab.

Bhagwant Mann claimed that till now the state government has given jobs to 37,683 youth of Punjab. He said that this is a record that the government has completed this recruitment process in just 18 months. He also alleged that the successive governments  had ignored this task during their entire tenure.
