Roznamcha ‘B’ i.e Daily Diary Register shall now be merged in the Digital GD register being maintained in CCTNS Application. This module automatically picks time stamping from the server on real time and the process eliminates manual intervention and eliminates all chances of manipulation of records. It further ensures real time entries of Crime, Criminals, PCR Calls etc. as well as movements of Police personnel for investigation and law & order duties in the Police Stations.

According to police officials digitization of the record is the need of the hour as maintenance of record was a tiring job. The records being bulky were very time consuming to analyze it. Records in digital format will not only help in its maintenance but will also help in analysis. It also enables easy retrieval and review of records by the senior officers. This system will bring complete transparency in police working and will replace the British era practice.

Present is the best time considered for its implementation. In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing has to be observed in all offices as well as daily life. Police said that this system has the feature of simultaneous use by multiple police officers without waiting in queue. It will help the police personnel from touching multiple hands on the registers and will help in protecting policemen from exposure to Covid-19, especially in offices.

These registers will henceforth, be maintained in CCTNS Application. Users can take print out of above register for any given period of time.It is being said that digital upkeep of registers in all Police Stations of Delhi will make huge saving of papers and funds. The record retrieval will be faster and efficient. It will also save manpower and the staff deployed for maintenance of record can be utilized for field duties.

The record will be maintained on real time basis and will diminish any possibility of changing the record.
