Bihar Police Chief Rajwinder Singh Bhatti (RS Bhatti) has been posted as Director General of Central Industrial Security Force. Mr. Bhatti is a 1990 batch Bihar cadre officer of Indian Police Service. At the same time, Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal, Daljit Singh Chaudhary has now been made the Director General of Border Security Force. Mr. Chaudhary is also an officer of the 1990 batch of Indian Police Service. He belongs Uttar Pradesh cadre. Both the officers will retire after completing 60 years of age next year.
IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary was appointed Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal in January this year itself. Before assuming the post of SSB chief, Mr. Chaudhary was Special Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). SSB has been mainly given the responsibility of protecting India’s borders with Nepal and Bhutan. If there is no extension of service or new order, then UP cadre IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary will retire on 30 November 2025.
Bihar cadre IPS officer RS Bhatti was on central deputation even before becoming the Director General of Police (DGP) of Bihar. He was posted as Additional Director General (Eastern Command) of Border Security Force (BSF).Prior to that, Mr. Bhatti was the Director General of Bihar Military Police . He has also worked as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Bihar cadre IPS RS Bhatti is going to retire on 30 September 2025.
