NCC :12-day All India Army Camp starts in New Delhi

The 12-day All India NCC Thal Sainik Camp commenced, in New Delhi on September 03, 2024.

The 12-day All India NCC Army Camp of the National Cadet Corps started today (03 September 2024) in the capital New Delhi. NCC Additional Director General (B) Major General Siddharth Chawla inaugurated the camp which will conclude on 13 September. Total  1,547 cadets (both boys and girls) from 17 NCC Directorates across the country are participating in this camp.

The camp will involve the participants in a wide range of activities including obstacle training, map understanding and other competitions. These activities are designed to test and enhance physical stamina, mental acuity and teamwork. These activities will provide an intense training experience to the NCC cadets.

In his address at the inauguration of the NCC camp, Major General  Siddharth Chawla underlined the unique opportunities offered by the NCC and highlighted how it promotes courage, discipline and respect among the youth. He expressed confidence that the Army Camp will inspire the cadets to excel in their future goals and make a positive contribution to the nation.

The Army Camp, especially for the cadets of the Army Wing, is known for its comprehensive training and special focus on character development, aimed at building a strong foundation of leadership and teamwork among the youth of the nation.
