The achievements of Indian Navy sailor Yamini Bonda have once again proved that even in the military , women have the courage to win any match of strength, speed and passion.
Yamini’s name has been included in the list of champions of the Navy’s inter command sailing competition. Yamini Bonda had joined the Navy as Agniveer. Yamini is posted in Mechanic Engineer Branch (ME).
According to the Indian Navy spokesperson, apart from winning the Western Command Sailing Championship 2023, she has also become the winner of the Indian Navy Sailing Championship 2023. The Navy’s Inter Command Ocean Sailing Championship took place in the sea between Kochi and Goa. Yamini’s victory also shows the importance of women in the Indian Navy.
The Navy’s spokesperson said that her success is a testament to the indomitable spirit of women in the Indian Navy.
