Inauguration of modern CSD canteen in Sapt Shakti Command in Jaipur

CSD canteen in Jaipur
A CSD canteen has been opened in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur for the welfare of soldiers and ex-servicemen. Opened under the army’s Sapt Shakti Command, it is a huge and modern canteen which was recently  inaugurated by the regional army commander Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh.
This ultra-modern CSD canteen with an area of ten thousand square feet is in a two-storey building. Many automatic billing counters have been installed  here for shopping. Along with this, there are attractive special sections for the store of categories. The list of inventory  available in the canteen has 4000 items. The purpose of building the canteen in this way is to provide a comfortable and satisfying shopping experience to serving soldiers, military families and ex-servicemen.CSD Jaipur canteen was inaugurated in a simple ceremony. On this occasion, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command, was accompanied by his wife and Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) regional president Barinder Jeet Kaur. Serving defence personnel, ex-servicemen and their families were also specially present on this occasion.

This canteen has been designed and developed keeping in mind the dependency of ex-servicemen and serving soldiers. It has been built along with some other welfare initiatives like transit facility and wellness center at Jaipur Military Station to improve the quality of life and welfare of serving soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families.

This can be considered as another major initiative of the Sapta Shakti Command towards the overall development and welfare of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, serving soldiers and families of the three services.
