It was an impressive and colourful parade when 123 flight cadets were commissioned into the Indian Air Force by IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria in Dundigal on Saturday. Eleven officers from Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard were awarded wings on the successful completion of flying training.
Addressing a combined graduation parade (n CGP) at the Air Force Academy ( AFA) I IAF chief Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria said that the Air Force is determined to deliver and is well prepared and suitably deployed to respond to any contingency He further said that the air force will never let the supreme sacrifice made by our brave soldiers at Galwan in Ladakh go in vain.
He reminded the officers that the security scenario prevailing in our region mandates that our armed forces remain prepared and vigilant at all times. He said that the development on the LAC in Ladakh was a small snapshot of what the armed forces are required to handle at short notice. Bhaduria asked the graduating officers to don this mantle – as proudly as they would don their blue uniforms.
