Facilitation Center to reduce difficulties in getting treatment under ECHS

ECHS facilitation centre inaugurated by Lieutenant General C Bansi Ponnappa

A Facilitation Center has been started in Delhi with the aim of reducing the problems of Exe-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS)  beneficiaries and helping them in the process of timely availing treatment facilities under the scheme.

This facility has been started in the ECHS Bhawan located at Thimayya Marg in Delhi Cantonment. It was inaugurated today by Lieutenant General C Bansi Ponnappa, Adjutant General of the Indian Army.

According to the ADGPI, the Facilitation Center will provide efficient and effective assistance to ex-servicemen and their dependents in resolving their medical issues in real time. Information related to documents and queries  will be resolved here. For this and to attend to the complaints of ECHS beneficiaries, a help desk and a call center have also been created here.
