Be it human or animal, health is important for everyone. For the population living in many rural areas ,livestocks  play an important role in their lives. Same is the case in Kashmir, but there is a lack of health and medical facilities, which the Indian security forces try to provide  by setting up temporary camps.

Army Veterinary Corps treated the pets of the villagers

The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army has set up one such medical camp in  Satura village of Tral tehsil in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. Doctors of Army Medical Corps (AMC) conducted health check-ups of the local people and provided them medical treatment .

Treatment was also provided to  pets and various sick animals of the villagers in Satura. This camp was organized by the Veterinary Corps (AVC) of the Indian Army.  The help of experts from the Sheep Husbandry Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government was also taken.
