Nepal Army’s club wins CoAS International Tri-Adventure Competition, India grabbed Bronze

Nepal Army's TAC team was the winner of CoAS International Tri-Adventure Competition
‘ A’ Team of Tribhuvan Army Club grabbed first position in CoAS Tri-Adventure International Competition held at Nepal. Indian Army’s ‘A’ Team won the title of the Best International Team. Total 21 teams from various countries , including the United Kingdom and United States of America, participated in the competition which took place from October 11 to 22.

This was the  sixth edition of CoAS International Tri-Adventure Competition , started from Baireni to Charoodi in Dhading district , by the Army of Nepal.

 Various domestic and foreign teams participated in the competition. Tribhuvan Army Club’s ‘A’ team scored  first in the men’s side and Indian Army’A ‘ Team won the title of the best international team. Although the Indian Army team could grab the Bronze cup.

Indian Army’s ‘A’ team was led by Major Sachin Kuntal  who hails from Mathura District of Uttar Pradesh . Major Kuntal also participated in the World’s most grueling  endurance triathlon, the IronMan 70.3 held  at Goa.  The team finished the race at third position.

Under this adventure sport, the team has to run for 6.7 kilometers, cycling (26 kilometers) and to participate in rafting for 11 kilometers.

Major Sachin Kuntal says that his elder brother lt. Col. Swaroop Singh inspired him who had also won the title of Ultraman India.
