Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande on four-day visit to America

General Manoj Pande reviewed the Guard of Honor of the US Army in Fort Myers.

Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande held high-level meetings with his US counterpart General Randy George and other senior Army officials on matters of bilateral importance and ways to enhance mutual commitment towards global peace and security. General Pande is on a four-day official visit to America from 13th February. This is the first time in many years that an Indian Army Chief has visited America.

According to an official post on X from the Indian Army’s Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADGPI), the objective of the discussion was to further enhance aspects of bilateral importance and mutual commitment towards global peace and security.

During this official visit, General Manoj Pande reviewed the Guard of Honor of the US Army upon reaching Fort Myers. General Pande paid tribute by laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

General Manoj Pande met his American counterpart General Randy George.

ADGPI’s post on X  said that General Pande participated in “high-level professional discussions” with US Army Chief of Staff General Randy George and other senior military leaders. COAS General Pande visited the Army Geospatial Center at Fort Belvoir and also interacted with the Vice President of the National Defense University at Fort McNair.

He also visited the Indian Embassy in Washington DC and interacted with Charge d’Affaires Sripriya Rangnathan and discussed important ongoing and potential initiatives.
