State Bank of India and Central Armed Police Forces officials signed a MoU , related to implementation of revised Central Armed Police Salary Package, for the benefit of Central Armed Police Forces personnel. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Director General GP Singh was also present at the event held in New Delhi.
CRPF has shared the information about the MoU on its handle at social media platform x on 31 January 2025. The purpose of this package is to ensure financial security of the personnel and retired personnel of the Central Armed Forces.
The benefits available under CAPSP
In case of death of any serving personnel in any kind of accident, the dependents will be given an insurance amount of Rs 1 crore. In the case of veterans, this amount is Rs 50 lakh. Apart from this, serving personnel will get the benefit of life insurance cover of Rs 10 lakh till the age of 65 years.
